I know I really emphasize the importance of asking questions, but I also realize that not everyone wants to ask questions in comment form.  I understand the need for private space that allows you to ask me questions without the whole rest of the world seeing…so, send me an email!

All questions are welcome and all questions will be answered.  From basic vocab questions (what does trans mean anyway?) to queer theory, you should know that this is a non-judgmental space and I invite everyone to engage.  In the real world (non-virtual), asking difficult questions can be uncomfortable and sometimes painful.  For some trans-people, getting asked about their personal lives is annoying and even offensive…but not for me.  This is your chance to learn about my process, my changes, my body, my sex life and my love life (the two are very different, you know), my activism, my feelings, and my thoughts.  Nothing is off limits.

Please do keep in mind (AND THIS IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT) that my answers are derived solely on my personal experiences.  I cannot speak for others.  Everybody has different experiences and I want to share mine with you.  Under no circumstances should you assume that anything that I write or any answer that I give applies to all transgendered people.

I just read all of your blog entries and I cannot tell you how happy I am for you. When I first moved to NC, you were one of the first people to talk to me and befriend me and I am still very greatful for that. You are a wonderful person and I am so glad you’ve finally found the thing that will make you truely happy.
I wish you all the best.
